Description
This writing project is perfect for reluctant writers. In this writing project students will be able to write a formal business style letter to any living person that has had a positive influence on them. This could be a celebrity or someone they know personally. The letter are intended to be mailed out by the teacher, using the school's address as the return address and the teacher's name as the primary contact. A website with celebrity fan mail addresses is provided along with a step by step detailed directions, a sample letter, proofreading suggestions, and a scoring rubric.
