Description

This lesson is designed for students who have learned how to draw basic boxes using 2-point perspective.

This is a two-part lesson that is designed to show students that their quality of their artwork can be improved by applying what they know about linear perspective. The lesson will reveal successful "before and after" pictures.

Part #1: Students (who have been taught the principles of 2-point perspective) will be challenged to draw a house. Most students will revert to old drawing habits and will fail to apply their knowledge of linear perspective.

Part #2: Students will be guided through a step-by-step process that will show them how to use two-point perspective to draw a more realistic house. It is likely that this process will be challenging for many students. Instructors may chose to stop when the basic shape of the house is completed. Instructions/Suggestions for adding details to the house are provided for students who are ready for the challenge.
