How a Bill Becomes a Law - Full Lesson/Simulation

This is a full lesson plan for how a bill becomes a law. I have the full written out lesson plan (objective, student will, teacher will, etc) as well as all the materials needed for the lesson. This includes: role/task cards, mock congress sheet, powerpoint, exit ticket and lesson plan.

My students really loved this, as it was a real-life simulation. It was important to explain the expectations beforehand and it ran smoothly. The kids had so much fun coming up with their own laws to "pass" in the classroom and a few were even brought up to the principal!
