What educators are saying

My students enjoy this resource when we’re working on procedural writing. I also love the differentiated options as well.
It was a great resource to use to start my students on procedural writing. Lots of writing topics to choose from.

Description

Do you need a no-prep resource to teach how-to writing and story sequencing in your classroom? This How-To Writing and Sequencing resource works on building independent writers as they learn to use transitional words in their writing.

Students will cut out four story pictures and place them in order. Then, they will write a story using transitional words that explains the four steps they pasted on the page.

This Resource Includes 32 Unique How-To Writing Pages to Work On:

  • Cut and Paste Story Sequencing
  • How-To Writing
  • Transitional Words
  • Proofreading/Editing Your Story

32 writing pages are included with two differentiated options per page. The first option includes blank writing lines with a transitional word bank for independent writers. The second option includes four transition words on the page for students to trace and complete the sentence.
