    Description

Are you about to teach procedure how to writing? This NO PREP bundle features a PowerPoint, worksheets, and crafts for 1st grade and kindergarten. It is exactly what you need for fun, engaging, and enjoyable procedural / expository lessons.

What is included? (Please view previews)

    • A 29 slide PowerPoint.

It is a great introduction to procedure writing; easy, interactive, and engaging. I've found that it helps explicitly outline all the steps the kids need to remember (title, goal, materials, steps etc).

    • 25 procedure writing prompts and 5 blank templates.

It comes in both a kinder and 1st grade version. Fun and seasonal topics are included and it is common core aligned. Some are more scaffolded with boxes or steps, whereas others have more lines, for more advanced writers.

    Procedure Writing Prompt/Worksheet FREEBIE

    • 4 crafts (how to make a pizza, popcorn, burger, and sundae).

There are planning pages for each craft. The art/crafts are flip books. Students complete 5 easy steps to make each craft (write, cut, color, cut, and glue). Written and visual instructions are included. The writing pages have two types of lines (dotted or plain) to choose from.

Why you NEED the crafts in this bundle:

The crafts are adorable! They are great for literacy and writing lessons, if you want a creative/art element and excellent for wall displays, door decor, or bulletin boards.

Many students hate writing lessons. But these topics are so engaging for students, what kid doesn't love ice cream, popcorn, pizza, and burgers?! Your students will have SO much fun during these lessons.
