How To Ask/Go To the Bathroom Instruction & Visual Aides

This visual print-out packet is designed to teach and aide you in the classroom with how students should ask and go to the bathroom. Executive functioning and behavior are synonymous in the classroom. If there’s a frustrating behavior, likely the student(s) require instruction in the area of need in order to plan better choices in the future.

Task analysis is the breaking down of a task in small manageable chunks to allow students to take the new skill one step at a time. Visuals are a great way to remind the student of the given behavior, especially if their disability also impacts their ability to read.
