Description

TITLE

How Living Things Use Bodies and Behaviors to Protect Themselves Unit eBook

OVERVIEW

Students learn through reading passages, engaging media (photos, graphic organizers, video and audio clips), and a hands-on activity about fascinating structural and behavioral adaptations of plants and animals that have developed in the biodiverse habitat of the tropical rainforest. Assessments, answer keys, Easel Activities, and teacher support are included. The high-interest rainforest theme is used to teach this NGSS-aligned life science unit. Content is engaging and helps meet nonfiction literacy requirements.

This is an interactive unit. It includes a video or videos; audio support (human voiceover) for reading passages; and definitions of words from the vocabulary list can be pressed within lessons to reveal definitions. Interactivity for assessments and hands-on activities is provided in the attached Easel activities.  Read TECH information section below about which eBook readers to use before purchasing.

HOW TO USE

DO YOU WANT YOUR STUDENTS TO HEAR READINGS OF THE LESSONS IN THIS UNIT?

And by a human voice, not an AI voice? That is the advantage of an eBook, which is in an EPUB format. It has interactive options that just don't work in a PDF.
