How I Teach Combining Like Terms

This is a 31 page Smartboard lesson. The lesson starts out explaining what terms are. From there the students learn how to recognize students that are alike. The lesson proceeds with teaching how to combine simple like terms and progresses to more complex like terms. Also included in the lesson are examples where the student first uses the distributive property and then combines the like terms. Each example page includes the answers.
