Bring Learning to Life - Homeschooling Planning Guide - 4 Steps Toward a Natural Learning Approach.

I wrote this book to help homeschooling parents (and teachers) who want a more natural approach to planning their curriculum or who want to create a thematic-style program.

The easiest way to get started is to use literature and then plan around a great book with the EPIC system. EPIC is an acronym to describe a 4 step method to incorporate thinking skills. This keeps learning fun as well as taking children into deeper learning where they use the higher levels of thinking and creating.

The planning cycle rotates through 4 essential learning stages

E= Experience and Explore

P = Pursue and Practise

I = Investigate and Invent

C = Communicate and Celebrate.

Integrating learning areas and using Bloom's Taxonomy of Thinking Skills builds knowledge as well as developing critical thinking skills and creativity.

NOTE: The book does not include actual thematic units but it enables you to develop your quality program.
