Description

This lab starts off with background information about homeostasis and questions for students to answer. The next page has information about the heart, max heart rate, pulse rate, etc. Page 3 directs students to take their resting heart rate 3x then find the average. Then they engage in 3 minutes of vigorous exercise with 5 minutes of rest 3x. They will measure & record their heart rate immediately after exercise & after the 5 minutes of rest. The 4th page has students graph & analyze their results.
