Note: These interactive worksheets aim to be inclusive to all students and are therefore deliberately general. They do not focus on specific holidays -- this resource can be used year round!

    3. VALENTINE'S DAY UNDERSTANDING & EXPECTATIONS

Use these 14 interactive worksheets to help students understand the expectations surrounding Valentine's Day. Students are given the opportunity to read and reflect on 'Dos' and 'Don'ts' for Valentine's Day and analyze how celebrating Valentine's Day in Middle and High School is different from when they were in Elementary school. Additionally, students are given six different Valentine's Day scenarios that they must 'troubleshoot' with themes that include: friendship, rejection, crushes and love triangles.

Note: These interactive worksheets aim to be inclusive to all students and are therefore deliberately general-- often using the pronouns 'they'. For the most part the worksheet notes and examples do not focus on specific genders, which allows all students to make direct connections with the specific scenarios provided. (Ex: "You have a new crush at school and are excited to buy them a card for Valentine's Day").

    14 INTERACTIVE WORKSHEETS

    INCLUDED:

-Why do we celebrate Valentine's Day (1 page)
