What educators are saying

This was a fun way to present the holidays around the world. We performed this with a younger class as a whole school assembly and all the students loved it.
Loved it, we did modify the play a bit to represent the cultures in our classroom - it was very memorable.

Description

All Aboard! Take your class on a ride on the Holiday Express this December! Students learn about different cultures and traditions around the world and can sing songs and perform dances for each. Stops include, Mexico, Hawaii, Israel, Germany, England, Ireland, and U.S. for Kwanzaa and Christmas. Look for the Free Lyrics file on TPT titled The Holiday Express Play - Suggested Song Lyrics.

This holiday play was written for multiple classes. It has been enjoyed by parents for 5 years and always gets rave reviews. There are eight different locations written into the play, but it is easy to remove a country without interrupting the flow of the play. Mix and match stops on the Holiday Express from year to year.

Each class dresses in costumes to represent their state or country. When it is their country’s turn they take center stage and sing and do a simple dance while the rest of the students stay on the risers and sing.
