What educators are saying

This was awesome! My virtual students wanted to learn about the history of the guitar. It's all right here in this presentation. Thank you so much!

Description

*New and Improved!* One of my best-selling lessons has been updated and improved with embedded videos in the PowerPoint and an answer key for the worksheet. Perfect for distance learning, just upload the PowerPoint and worksheet to your online learning platform and go!

This lesson is great for a general music class that will be playing the guitar. I found a number of videos on YouTube of lute and guitar playing, including videos of Ana Vidovic which I intersperse into the lecture. Also available on YouTube are videos from the "How It's Made" series. They have a number about guitars and guitar strings. Very interesting and not terribly long. At my school, students play the guitar in guitar lab, so this is a nice introduction to the instrument and some of its many variations. Also included is a worksheet for students to complete during the lecture with answer key.

Bonus! Includes a guitar lab PowerPoint to establish procedures for students while working on guitars and guitar assignment sheet.
