Assignment #1A is a 24 question multiple choice assignment for students of all ages and abilities. No calculator is needed. Students just read the histograms and dot plots. There are 2 frequency histograms, 1 dot plot and 1 probability histogram in the assignment. This assignment can be used at Google Classroom with Google Forms. This file is free as the preview.

Assignment #1B is like #1A

Assignment #2A is a 25 question assignment based on how many peanut M&M’s are in a regular size bag. You could easily repeat this experiment with your class. The data is just simply how many M&M’s are in the bag. You could modify it to colors of M&M’s. Each type of graph is given and the students have to respond by answering questions about frequency and about the experimental probability of events. The last question asks the students to make a composite frequency histogram of the graphs in the assignment. No special calculator is needed for this assignment. In fact, it could be done without a calculator. This assignment can also be done at Google Classroom with Google Forms.

Assignment #2B is like 2A

Assignment #3A is a 25 question assignment based on SAT Math scores in a given teacher’s class. The data is in intervals on each type of graph. Students have to respond by answering questions about frequency and about the probability of events. The last question asks the students to make a composite dot plot of the graphs in the assignment. No special calculator is needed for this assignment. In fact, it could be done without a calculator. This assignment is also available at Google Classroom with Google Forms.
