Hispanic Heritage Month Activity- Mexican Mirror Craft

This Hispanic Heritage Month activity is a fun and creative way to celebrate and study Mexican folk art as a part of the month-long celebration (September 15-October 15). Students can enjoy making a Mexican mirror craft and learning about Mexican folk art. A great Art activity for Hispanic Heritage Month-would look great as a bulletin board display too! This lesson could easily be included in substitute plans.

Day of the Dead Activity/Hispanic Heritage Month Activity- Nicho Craft

This Day of the Dead activity/Dia de los Muertos activity is a fun and creative way to celebrate and study Mexican folk art and learn about Day of the Dead/Dia de los Muertos (November 1-2) traditions. Students can enjoy making a nicho box craft and learning about Mexican folk art. A great Art activity for Day of the Dead!
