Hiragana line-by-line Word Play Puzzles

For those introducing the hiragana line by line (eg. the 'a' line, the 'k' line) this puzzle book is a must!

The first word puzzles contain only words from the 'a' line, meaning that students can confidently recognise all hiragana and learn to read them individually and in frequently used words.

The next word puzzle - the 'k' line - uses only hiragana in the first two lines, meaning that students have already been introduced to all hiragana in the words and can reinforce the 'a' line while practicing new hiragana in the 'k' line.

An answer section is included so these puzzles can be left for an emergency replacement teacher, or the book can be printed off as a whole for students to work through as they learn their hiragana.
