    Description

Looking for elementary music activities to add to your music lesson plans to help address melodic direction (high and low)? Do you struggle how to teach high or low?

Aurally identifying the music comparative high and low with kindergarten and first grade has just become fun and exciting with these elementary music lesson plans, manipulatives, music games and assessments. Plus, the digital resources work via tablets or your internet browser!

They are perfect to use anytime you need to introduce, reinforce or assess high low. Excellent music games for centers, whole group instruction or music sub tubs! Perfect addition to your Orff lesson and Kodaly lesson.

The Bundle contains 7 products that are sold separately in my store. Click on a product name or the preview button for additional details. Consider purchasing the bundle to save money!

2 units include a lesson plan on how to introduce, reinforce and assess the concept of high middle low with kindergarten or first grade. In order to reinforce the concept the units includes manipulatives with directions on how to assemble so each student will be able to practice individually. An assessment and answer key are also provided with each theme. Options for printing in color or B/W are available.

5 interactive games contains 15 student interactive slides. Each slide has several sound effects and animations. Students will click on the object to hear a sound. They will then click on the answer that represents what they hear! Students will know immediately without leaving the page if they are correct. Watch their eyes light up when they select the correct answer.

QR Codes for each game are also included. Print or project the pdf flyer so students can easily scan and play the games.

Assessments plus answer keys are also included as a separate document and link so you are able to formally assess students on the concept in a later lesson.
    Assessment documents include:

★ A student test (to be printed in black/white with one per page).

    ★ An assessment key

★ A sample slide of the student test. Instead of playing the sounds on an instrument just project the slide on your board and access the sounds by clicking on the object. A PDF version of the assessment is also included for those that do not have access to Office/PowerPoint - use the shared link to project the assessment and assess the sounds via your Web Browser or tablet.

The games were designed to be projected onto your SmartBoard, Promethean, Mimio or Interactive Whiteboard and will run on PC's, Mac's, Chromebooks and tablets using a "link" that will open via your default internet browser. In addition, use the QR code provided or the PowerPoint version of the game as another option for utilizing the product. Integrating the resource into digital learning platforms like Canvas, Blackboard, Seesaw, and Google Classroom is easy when utilizing the "shared link".

Upon purchase please read the document titled "1 READ FIRST INFORMATION" for detailed instructions.
