    Description

    This download includes sight word flash cards for Pre-Primer, Primer, 1st, 2nd, & 3rd grade high-frequency word lists. There are two sets included in this bundle. One set includes single word flash cards. The second set includes phrases and short sentences using the sight words. For the phrases and short sentences many of the high-frequency words are used multiple times and each set of phrases builds on one another. For example, the orange set has words from the pre-primer and primer list of sight words. The yellow set has words from the pre-primer, primer, and 1st grade list of sight words, etc.

    These flash cards are a wonderful tool for students to use to practice building and improving their reading fluency. These cards can be used whole group, small group, as partner practice, at literacy centers, in early finisher tubs, or even with students that need one-on-one help and/or RTI interventions. Simply print, laminate, cut, hole punch, and attach the cards together using a book ring.

    How it Works: Each flash card is color coded based on the word list used.
    For example:

    • Blue Set: Pre-Primer Words
    • Orange Set: Primer Words
    • Yellow Set: 1st Grade Words
    • Purple Set: 2nd Grade Words
    • Green Set: 3rd Grade Words

    An EDITABLE set of flash cards is also included if you need to add your own words/phrases to each flash card set.
