Heartbeat Melodies Challenge: Violin

This is a series of sight reading activities for students in Zoom lessons (though it could be used in person as well). I mainly built this for my younger, pre-reading students who were suddenly taking lessons with me through Zoom. Engaging these younger students from a distance can be a challenge, and this tool has been VERY helpful and engaging for them. Using Zoom's screen share function, you can cast this to your student's device. Click once for the melody, once for the "feedback bubble", once to move to the next slide.

I have expanded it for use with more developed students as well and included options for even intermediate players. It’s been a great help with keeping them engaged in the Zoom format, adding variety to our lessons, practicing sight reading, and giving them options for choice and creativity.
