Students will

  • Choose a hypothesis and investigate the answer.
  • Explain that as exercise increases, my heart beats faster.
  • Record observations and data.
  • Create a bar graph.
  • Summarize the results of the experiment in an age-appropriate way.
  • Complete and chart exercises for at least one week.
  • Learn that exercise is important for the heart.

Teachers will like the user-friendliness of this resource, as well as its straightforward materials, comprehensive background information, and thoroughness.
