Healthy Eating Smoothie Lab and Competition | Cooking Measurement Life Skills

Grab your aprons and chef’s hat for this Healthy Eating Smoothie Food Lab and Competition for you life skills classes. Students will use food preparation techniques to create a delicious masterpiece. This is a fun activity to do with your middle school and/or high school students. In this lesson students will learn to follow a recipe, use teamwork, learn food preparation techniques, and practice time management skills. Students are placed into groups of three or four and compete in a smoothie competition. Each group will present to a group of judges.
