Students get to color the black line versions or you can just print colored hats. Colored versions come with most but not all of the sets. You can see in the descriptions of each hat which ones come in both
To create length on the sides, just add the headband hat to a sentence strip, or on some of the hats, I offer a strip. You can see those when you click on the individual links below to view the different hats.

NOTE: The free hats and several others actually have dotted lines, but some of the others have solid black lines.
