Description

What's scarier than a review on text structure? A BORING review on text structure!

This will be FREE on TpT through September 21. Grab it now!

With the spooky season almost upon us (and let's be real, it's always spooky season for middle schoolers) what could be better than grabbing their attention AND reviewing focus standards? Keep the rigor going AND entice them to participate with a virtual escape room.

All you have to do is share the first slideshow with your students and ta-da! Your job is done. Sit back and watch your students WANT to engage with the text.

This escape room comes with a spooky story, themed slides, a Google form to lead students through the story, and SIX puzzles relating to ELA standards.

Note: This is meant to be a review activity so students should already be familiar with skills and concepts related to text structure, author's purpose, bias, and tone.
