What educators are saying

This is a great resource for the classroom. It was easy to use and the students were engaged. Highly recommend!
This is a great resource for my English language learners. It's a great visual way for them to learn the science vocabulary they need for the lessons. They are learning the vocabulary in a fun and meaningful way. I used this resource all year long!

Description

Tired of having students copy definitions for science vocabulary? Do your students not have the background experiences to relate to the terms when they're introduced? This guide is an opportunity to introduce new science vocabulary using hands-on experiences!

There are four parts to each lesson:

Part 1: The teacher leads the students in an activity for 10-15 minutes. They draw and record what they did in their notebook.

Part 2: Use direct instruction to teach students the new terms using motions, listening, talking, drawing, and a foldable page.

Part 3: Students revisit the activity page and identify what they did using their new vocabulary.

Part 4: Students do an "I Learned" page as Output.
