The rollercoaster word mapping mats come with 60 picture cards for use with the mats or for other instruction and activities. They provide a rollercoaster visual to remind students to stretch out the sounds with their hand motions and listen carefully for those middle sounds.

The alphabet dice decoding game is a staple in my classroom as I’m able to have kids practice decoding skills while rolling and reading the words they create. I love to differentiate by having students start with 2 dice for VC words and work up to 3 dice to practice reading CVCe words.
