This Boom Cards activity captivates students using a MAGIC FLASHLIGHT as they search HALLOWEEN PICTURE SCENES for words with their articulation sounds! The deck uses fun, Halloween THEMED VOCABULARY to target ARTICULATION... and language if you need it to!

15 SOUND-LOADED SCENES are included. Use the clickable menu card to choose your student's target sound from the following consonants/blends:

✌️2 VERSIONS of each Halloween scene allow you to meet the needs of individual students, utilize REPETITION of vocabulary and concepts, and maximize TRIALS:

✨ A movable FLASHLIGHT (and its beam of light) explores a DARKENDED scene where students locate each of the 10 items listed at the bottom of the card.

✅ In the FULLY VISIBLE version of the scene, students move CHECKMARKS to each of the 10 listed items in the picture.

The 10 TARGET WORDS on each scene can be practiced at ANY LEVEL:

• Produce each WORD by itself.
• Add a describing word to create a PHRASE.
• Formulate a SENTENCE about the word.
• Make up a STORY or engage in CONVERSATION about the picture.

This is a great HALLOWEEN activity for a range of students, including MIXED GROUPS! In addition to articulation practice, the FUNCTIONAL and RELEVANT Halloween -themed vocabulary throughout allows you to TARGET LANGUAGE, too!
