Description
Looking for a Halloween Chemistry Station Lab with a variety of new and exciting chemistry?! This activity has it all! Virtual and non-lab options for each station too!
Did you know some candy is actually coated with bug secretions? How about that the original tin man in the Wizard of Oz was actually hospitalized because his makeup was toxic? Did you know bat migration has been studied using isotope ratios? I bet your students didn't either! This Halloween Chemistry gives students all kinds of fun facts to share around the dinner table.
This is an 8 station lab and activity mix for your students to explore Halloween Chemistry. It includes information about each of the above factoids as well as safety and lab exercises. For each lab station there is also an alternate "print and go" non-lab option as well as honors level differentiation for 7 of the 8 stations. ALL answers and setup questions are answered in the included Teacher Manual as well as additional resources for your students.
Stations include:
Dry Ice and Sublimation, Slime and Polymer Chemistry, Isotopes, Chocolate Toxicity and Graphing, Gummy Candy and Bugs, Zombies and Neurotoxins, Halloween/Fall scents and Organic Chemistry and Makeup Poisoning and NFPA Labels.
See the preview for all of the materials included in this 55 page resource!
Add this to your Halloween Chemistry Demos this year and try these exciting Halloween stations with your students!
