Halloween Reader's Theater

Phonics Dancing Across the Curriculum presents “Halloween Reader’s Theater. This packet includes 7 skits including:

Run Pumpkin Run (a 7 page story)-Two pumpkins on the farm, one brave and the other afraid, come into contact with different animals that want to make them into pumpkin pie.

Teeny Tiny (a 4 page story)-An adaptation of Jill Bennet’s story about a small woman who finds a bone.

Little Witches in Training (a 4 page story)-Two little witches at spell school can’t seem to get their spells right.

Don’t Carve Me (a 4 page story)-A little boy is searching for the perfect pumpkin to carve into a jack-o-lantern. Will the pumpkins at the pumpkin patch be able to convince him they are not the one?

The Wizard, the Witch, and the Magic Chicken (a 5 page story adapted from the story by Helen Lester)- Each of these characters think they are the best, but their true colors come out when they are chased by monsters.

What’s a Witch to Do? (a 7 page story)-The witch has a problem. Her broom is broken. What will she use now?

Jolly Goblins (a 4 page story)-What are four jolly goblins doing now that Halloween is almost here? Telling you lots of jokes of course!
