Description

Plan a Halloween Party with your class for a fun seasonal Project Based Learning unit. They can create a guest list, design an invitation, select foods, decorations, and more. This PBL Halloween Party Planning unit contains writing, graphing, math problems, a webhunt, and spreadsheets.

This PBL unit incorporates 21st Century skills with challenging, engaging, and creative activities. There are lots of opportunities for differentiation and technology integration.

IN THIS UNIT:

  • Choose a theme for your Halloween party
  • Design an invitation and invitation list
  • Purchase paper goods for your party
  • Organize your entertainment
  • Purchase decorations
  • Make up a game to play at your party to go with the theme.
  • Plan menu and Purchase food items
  • Select party favors for your friends.
  • Design the layout for the party area. (I provided a grid)
  • Give materials and directions for making a Halloween craft.
  • Design a Halloween costume
  • Favorite Halloween costume graph
  • Draw a Jack-o-lantern
