    Description

Get BOTH the Bulletin Board AND the Worksheet and save this Halloween!

Order of Operations Halloween Bulletin Board Set: This fun and festive Halloween-themed bulletin board set is perfect for helping your students learn the order of operations. The use of the word BOOO! will help your students remember the vocabulary term order of operations rather than just an acronym for the operations themselves.

There are options for this set, so you can find the one you need.

    • You may choose to print the large set for your door or bulletin board, or you can choose a smaller size to fit a smaller space such as a word wall or focus wall.
    • Another option is whether you want all the operations together on one ghost or each individual operation on a different ghost.
    • Use PEMDAS? Use GEMS? It doesn't matter! This set has options to print either the term "parentheses" or "grouping symbols."

    The set includes:

    • Large letters that spell the word BOOO with "order of operations"
    • Small letters that spell the word BOOO with "order of operations"
    • Large ghost with the order of operations
    • Large ghosts with individual operations
    • Small ghosts with individual operations

Large letters are a full page. Smaller letters are two letters per page. See the preview for a closer look at this bulletin board set.

The poster are all in black and white and can be printed on regular size paper or cardstock from your own printer. Print this unforgettable set as your bulletin board for the month of October and help your students remember the order of operations all year long.

This Halloween set looks really cute when accessorized with cut-out problems from the Candy Corn Worksheet.

Order of Operations Candy Corn Worksheet: Here's a fun and festive way to practice the order of operations this Halloween! You'll love how this worksheet has students show their work vertically. This no-prep activity can be used as part of your instruction or as a quick review.

This cute candy corn worksheet contains 18 expressions for students to simplify using the order of operations. They will show their work in the middle section of the candy corn (orange) and write their answer in the bottom portion of the candy corn (white). The triangular shape is ideal for making the expressions simpler each step until they get the value.

This is perfect for 6th grade math because the problems do not require operations with integers, although some problems do require simplifying exponents. Two versions are available - in color or in black and white.

Alternative: If you are looking for a quick review, cut the worksheet into strips of 3 problems or individual candy corns. Have students solve their problem or problems as part of a game or for you to check and give out candy corn.

The cut-out problems make cute accessories for the Order of Operations Halloween Bulletin Board!

Whether you call is PEMDAS or GEMDAS, your students will be able to practice this skill with this Halloween-themed worksheet.

An answer key is included for easy checking.

Perform arithmetic operations, including those involving whole-number exponents, in the conventional order when there are no parentheses to specify a particular order (Order of Operations). For example, use the formulas V = s³ and A = 6 s² to find the volume and surface area of a cube with sides of length s = 1/2.
