What educators are saying

Such a great resource! I know it's designed for Halloween, but I used it to help my students form and defend their opinions not during October. The graphic organizer saved me time and helped my students organize their ideas.

Description

Get your students to defend their opinion with this Halloween Opinion writing: What is their favorite candy? Included is a graphic organizer that helps students layout their ideas to argue what their favorite candy is. They start with their opinion, 3 reasons, and end with a restatement of their opinion. Then they can use their graphic organizer to help write the perfect opinion piece on what is the best candy. There are cute papers to write on as well. This is a fun activity for Halloween or just any time you could use extra practice with opinion writing.

What's all included?

  • Graphic Organizer
  • 4 cute papers included for them to write their essay out practicing punctuation, correct grammar, and more. 2 papers have a small spot for an illustration of their candy.

The holidays are buys enough! Just print this ready to go writing activity and have your students argue their favorite candy.
