Halloween Escape Room (Classroom version) - ESL Flyers

A Halloween-themed escape room for ESL A2+ level (Flyers) students! This is an in-class version.

This escape room consists of 6 tasks that all focus on Halloween while at the same time testing the students' knowledge of numbers and spelling.

Activities range from listening ("This is Halloween" song), to deciphering codes, ending with jigsaw solving and answering hidden questions. You can make it more interesting by dividing your students into smaller groups and solving the puzzles under the pressure of time. There is a variation to the jigsaw - students can either do the physical version or solve the digital version (link included in the task).

Verify the answers at the end of each task. If the answer is correct, proceed by giving your students another task.

This activity is rather short and shouldn't last more than 20 minutes, so it can be a perfect way to end a Halloween-themed class.
