Hairy Cows of Scotland Drawing Lesson - Powerpoint Slideshow

This Powerpoint Slideshow covers everything you'd need to introduce students to a specific animal to Scotland...The Hairy Coo (Cow)! The slideshow includes a brief background on Hairy Coo's with excellent photographs of the animal and the beautiful landscape. The slideshow then teaches students step-by-step how to draw a cartoon or realistic Hairy Cow. The cartoon version is based off of the story book character "Hamish the Highland Cow" by Natalie Russell. Even very young artists can draw this cute cow! Older artists can choose to draw a more realistic cow inspired by the Scottish artist, Steven Brown who is known for his colorful Hairy Coo Paintings. This whole Powerpoint lesson would be great for elementary to early secondary students and could be presented by a teacher/parent or given as independent/virtual work.
