What educators are saying

Great resource for communicating with parents! I love the differentiation and variability. Thank you!

Description

These daily news communication forms make communicating between home and school easy, predictable and fast!

Parents of students with disabilities, are not always able to get a clear picture of their child's day through an open-ended discussion. Use this tool as a consistent way of communication between teachers and families. Parents and teachers can use this to guide the child through parts of their day.

These forms are not editable due to copyright, but I've included several versions at multiple support levels. Should you find that what you've downloaded are not meeting your needs, I encourage you to reach out to me at sweetsweetseasons@gmail.com so that I may update the file to be more useful to everyone!

I created this product as a specific need for my self-contained preschool classroom after other forms didn't fully meet my needs. As soon I began using these forms, I received immediate positive feedback from parents, paraprofessionals, substitutes and students! They are straightforward and easy to use!

As the teacher, I would fill out half of the form throughout the day then my students, 3 & 4 year olds, would complete the second half of the from with their Do A Dot / Dab markers! This routine encourages independence and accountability from the start!
