What educators are saying
My students enjoyed reading this activity out loud and working through the date in Mayan as well as the numbers listed at the bottom.
They found patterns in the numbers too, but were unable to understand how 20 only had one dot.
Fast, easy and fun!
Description
Students have fun writing numbers with Mayan symbols. Mayas are credited with the invention of the zero, as a place holder. This enabled numeracy to move forward much easier! Thanks so much for visiting! We are humbled. Gracias!
