HIRAGANA Spelling Task (Bell Task)

This resource is HIRAGANA bell task activities.

A sign of a well-managed classroom is when students enter and start work immediately – without prompting from the teacher! Giving a bell task (an opening task for the start of class) gets students to work before the bell has rung.

Giving a bell task provides these opportunities:

1. Classroom time maximised

2. Students responsible for starting the learning for your lesson

3. An atmosphere of learning established for the rest of the lesson

4. You get to have 5-10 minutes at the start of a lesson while students are working. You can use this time to mark rolls.
