HIDDEN FIGURES Movie Guide Journal Project | Film Study Activity Worksheets
- PDF
Description
This 17-page Hidden Figures journal is a fun (no boring multiple-choice questions!), yet guided resource to ensure your students are engaged on movie days. The activities that are included for before and after watching create a well-rounded unit. Mix and match the pages according to the needs of your students and the time available for this project. If you're needing to add in more writing across the curriculum (history, math, and science), this is perfect!
Before your students begin the movie, spend some time going over the background information to provide context to the new ideas presented. This can be done through Internet research or by watching short YouTube videos (my favorite method). These pages are purposefully left very open-ended so that your students can find their own way through the topics and share different facts with the class.
