Your students will feel as if they stepped back in time to the Harlem Renaissance with this engaging activity. To begin, students will be introduced to the Harlem Renaissance of the 1920s with a short film clip and lecture. They will take notes on the creative lecture notes template provided. Print and Digital. Perfect for distance learning.

They will then take part in a gallery walk where they will view art, poems, and literature of famous Harlem Renaissance artists and writers such as Langston Hughes, Lara Wheeler Waring, and Zora Neale Hurston. As they complete the gallery walk they will listen to the music of famous jazz musicians such as Louie Armstrong and Billie Holiday. EVERYTHING IS INCLUDED!
