These are 30 strum pattern exercises that range from easy to advanced, making them suitable for all grade levels and ages.
Each strum pattern exercise includes 3 PowerPoints which include quiet, medium, and loud volume options, depending on whether your students have a difficult time playing too loud or too soft, these are provided for visual reminders. The "medium" volume option is perfect for when you believe your students are strumming at the appropriate volume.
Printable options for all 30 exercises are also provided for student handouts. These are wonderful for students to have up close with them, as some students could have a hard time seeing. They're also perfect for students who just also like to have it in their hands.
Your choice of three guitar chords are always listed at the top of each exercise. If practicing a strum pattern for a longer duration occurs, it is great to have students switch to a new chord to keep up with pacing.
Worksheets and exit tickets are provided for class activities and mini assessment purposes. These are also great for substitutes, or assessing to see where students are after coming back from an absence.
