1. The Guided Reading Rotation Schedules will help you organize your guided reading time; especially when you have to work with lots of different pull-outs or push-ins during guided reading! Includes up to 6 guided reading rotations!

You can customize student's names and change group names. There are THREE templates included! All templates are in Microsoft Word.

The first template works best for teachers that have four rotations and students that are working at differentiated learning centers where students are able to practice with their guided reading group at their ability level.

The second template includes five groups and five rotations!

The third template works when teachers want to have students work with a partner (rather than a group of 4-6 students).

This can be placed on an overhead or on the projector during guided reading time.

2. Guided Reading Organizational Tips with Pictures (PDF)

This can help you plan and organize your data notebook as well as having all the materials you need.

3. Running Record Templates with Positive Prompts and Teaching Tips. There are sample running record forms, as well as Positive Prompts and Teaching Points for beginning readers and readers in older grades.

4. Literacy Center/Workstation Planning Template (You can edit this!) This helps plans your center/station activities for the week.

5. Guided Reading Lesson Plan Template (You can edit this!)

A one page document that includes Monday-Friday lessons for one reading group. There are three different choices of lesson plans.

6. Three sets of guided reading rubrics. Set 1 is for beginning readers, Set 2 is for Word Solving, and Set 3 is for Comprehension Strategies. These rubrics are great to help take notes on students can keep track of students reading behaviors. Each set has a group rubric (multiple students on a page) and individual student rubrics, depending on your needs.
