Growth Needs of Plants Experiment

• This lab was designed to help students explore further into how important each growth need requirement is for a plant.
• Students are prompted to change how a plant receives one of the following requirements: water, light, oxygen, space, or growing media.
• Students design their experiment, form a hypothesis and rational, and identify variables.
• Within the Plant Growth Experiment Booklet, students are given four writing prompts to journal what they are observing throughout the growth of their plants.
• Included is a presentation to help guide students with lab, student planning sheet, practice experiment to help students identify dependent, independent, and control variables, and a Plant Growth Experiment Booklet.
