1. Slide Show with Audio: This version plays from start to finish automatically. It has narration and soft music in the background. It can be paused for discussion.
2. Manual Slide Show: This version is designed to be read aloud to your students. There is narration right on the slide so you know what to read. Throughout the slide show, there are questions and discussion topics to prompt student responses. You can set the pace of the slide show to meet the specific needs of your class by clicking to advance.

OUR STORY
After hearing about growth mindset, we were determined to intentionally teach it to our students in a fun and thorough way. However, resources for primary-aged children were difficult to find. That's when we decided to make our own growth mindset resources. First, we created this slide show, then we added a wall poster set that matches the key vocabulary terms and "train" of thought theme. We decided to add matching student printables for independent practice. They have been wonderful to use. We hope you like them too!

FAQ
How long is the slide show?
The automatic version with audio is about 4 minutes long. The manual version is however long it takes you to read each slide and discuss it.
Which version do you recommend?
It truly depends on what you are looking for. If you want to show the slideshow in one session and have the narration done for you, the automatic video slideshow is the best option. It keeps students engaged with music in the background and more pictures popping up throughout it.
If you like to narrate yourself and have students predict and respond as you go, the manual version is best. It can get a little long, so you may want to break it into two sessions.
