I love this interactive bulletin! I love quotes, and my students have enjoyed it, too! It went along well with my book themed classroom. Thank you!

Description

This bulletin board is designed to help students motivate each other throughout the school year. The interactive component makes this resource purposeful in that it gives students a task to complete and helps create a positive community.

This bulletin board set is designed for BOOK & LIBRARY themed classroom decor! Download the preview to get a closer look.

This product works well for upper elementary, middle, and high school students. I have used this bulletin board in two classrooms for Extreme Makeover Classroom Edition. Not only is it engaging visually appealing, but it encourages students to be KIND to each other and motivate one another to learn perseverance! If you're teaching GROWTH MINDSET this is a perfect bulletin for you!

This product includes:

-44 BOOK & LIBRARY themed Polaroid cards with famous inspirational/motivational quotes

-44 BLANK Polaroid cards for students to write their own words of encouragement

-"Take what you need, give what you can" bulletin board letters

-Detailed teacher examples

-Classroom examples

What is the purpose of this bulletin board? This board is designed to encourage students to motivate one another using famous inspirational quotes as well as their own words of encouragement.

How does the bulletin board work? There are 44 Polaroid cards with famous quotes on them and 44 Polaroid cards without quotes. To begin, post all of the cards with quotes on the board. Throughout the year, if a student needs some inspiration or motivation, they can head over to the board and take a quote. The catch is this: if a student takes a quote, they must replace it with their own! By the end of the school year, students will be inspired by their own classmates’ quotes!

What’s the best way to display this bulletin board? In the photo examples, I used twine and clothes pins to attach the Polaroid quote cards to the wall. I displayed the words “TAKE WHAT YOU NEED” on the top of the board and “GIVE WHAT YOU CAN” at the bottom of the board. You could also use push pins, paper clips or Velcro to attach the quotes. I used a wooden crate to display the blank cards!
