Description

The Gross Motor Skill Guide would be a good resource for a beginning teacher. It includes individual and small group activities for developing motor skills. The activities include catching, rolling, throwing, dribbling, kicking, striking, jump rope, jumping jacks, balance, midline, spatial awareness locomotor, strength building, scooters, and form running. Samples of some of these activities are available for free at my store so that you can see what is in the guide. I used many of these activities when I work with students with gross motor delays as an adaptive physical education teacher. If you buy these activities consider purchasing the gross motor checklists to see which skills your child or student needs to develop.
