Description

QR Code links to Ted Talk and NPR interview with Angela Lee Duckworth on what grit is and how to teach grit.

Students answer guide questions while listening to the talk and the interview to better understand grit. Students identify and analyze what Duckworth's argument is and the evidence she uses to support her claims (is it valid and relevant).

Includes "Commit to Grit" worksheet where students write out their own grit goals based on Duckworth's household rule of everyone must always be working on one hard thing in their lives that requires deliberate practice.
