Description

I wrote this little poem in honor of Carter, a young child who died in the midst of his Kindergarten year. It is intended to be an encouragement in the face of the unthinkable loss of a child. It is indeed simplistic.

Recently I had a fellow-grandma friend who lost her grandson -- even prior to his entering Kindergarten and it prompted me to remember that I had written this long ago.

My sincere hope is that you never have occasion to 'need' such a rhyme.

I also suggest that you think long and hard about giving it to a grieving family, who may not share my concept of faith and heaven. Yet if there is any benefit that can support or encourage a family in their time of loss and grieving, I am grateful that you have this resource available.
