Greek and Latin Root Word Trifolds
Within this pack are 72 of the most commonly used Greek and Latin Root and Affixes in the English language. Designed in a student-centered and easy to use "trifold" (brochure style) page, the students will learn 4 roots a week. For each of the roots, the students will learn the language of origin, the common usage, find words containing the roots, write sentences using context clues, and draw pictures to depict the root meaning.
This is perfect to help your students gain more knowledge of root words, as well as tackle Common Core Standards ELA Language 4.4B and 5.4B.
There is also a "Test Your Knowledge" test prep section with questions specifically designed to get your students thinking about word origins and context clues, while practicing for "The TEST."
Answer keys with suggested words and sentences, as well as the answers for the Test Your Knowledge sections are included!
