Greek Mythology Unit Activity: Partner Play Scripts and Comprehension Worksheets

These five Greek mythology partner plays are intended to be used as fluency-building activities that 4th-5th students can do with a partner. This set of scripts focuses on Greek mythology. Many of your favorite Greek myths and characters are featured, including Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Hades, Demeter, Persephone, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Aphrodite, Eros, Hermes, Pandora, Daphne, Orion, Arachne, and Medusa.

These scripts require minimal teacher support, thereby allowing teachers to work with other small groups. For teachers who implement reading centers, these plays are perfect. These scripts are also ideal for parents who are looking for fun at-home reading activities that parents and children can read together. If you have a child who is reluctant to read at home, I encourage you to give these scripts a try!

This partner plays resource also includes a BONUS comprehension worksheet. After reading each script, students answer two or three comprehension questions that accompany that particular script.

This resource is available in multiple formats. Each teacher gets to choose the format that best meets his/her students' needs. You will choose between the printable partner plays and the paperless version that uses Google Slides. If you choose the printable option, you will have access to versions with color clip art and blackline clip art. Each script is exactly two pages, making it easy to print them back-to-back on a single page.
