What educators are saying

This bundle was a great way to get my students to engage with material in a way that made sense to them. They really enjoyed the activities based around the Greek Gods. I will be using this again in future years.
This bundle helped me fill out my unit. Our textbook is less than desirable, and these were perfect!

    Description

These interactive Greek Mythology Activities are perfect for a mini-unit on Greek Mythology, especially if you are looking to teach about some of the main gods and goddesses in your Ancient Civilizations class! This bundle features four no-prep resources that work well together:

    Greek Mythology Overview Google Slideshow

If you need to teach your students about who's who in Greek Mythology, this Intro to Greek Mythology can help! This digital resource includes a Google Slideshow featuring 14 of the different gods and goddesses of Ancient Greece (the 12 Olympians along with Hades and Hestia), along with a editable graphic organizer for Google Docs and some printable flashcards to help your students review what they learned!

    Greek Mythology Instagram Activity

This Greek Mythology Distance Learning activity is a great way for students to demonstrate their understanding of the gods and goddesses of Ancient Greece in a creative way! In this no-prep activity for Google Slides, students will be creating a selection of Instagram-styled posts for five of the gods or goddesses of Ancient Greece. In each post, students will include an image, caption, and relevant hashtags that help explain who that god or goddess is.

    Greek Mythology Activity Sheet

This Greek Mythology Activity Sheet is perfect for an emergency sub plan or early finisher activity during your Greek Mythology unit! Both fun and educational, this no-prep Greek Mythology worksheet contains three different activities: a creative locker matching challenge, a password game, and a Greek Mythology word search! Simply make a double-sided copy of this no-prep and engaging handout for all of your students and you are good to go! It will likely take students between 40-50 minutes to complete the activities, depending on their abilities. Answer keys have also been included, so you (or a sub) could go over the answers with students afterwards if desired.

    Greek Mythology Research Paper

If you need a writing assignment when teaching about Greek Mythology or need an assessment, use this resource! In this printable and digital activity, students will write a 500 word research paper that compares and contrasts two different gods or goddesses of Ancient Greece.

Some of the resources in this bundle will go directly to your TpT Purchases folder of your Google Drive account after completing your purchase. If you have any technical issues, reach out to us at mrandmrssocialstudies@gmail.com or contact TPT.
