What educators are saying

I used this product to review with my students just before state testing. The students found the resources in this product easy to use and it is a good way to review that incorporates interactive notebook activities.
This booklet is a fun way for the students to learn and have as a resource for Greek and Latin roots.

Description

This is a 5-day unit covering Greek & Latin roots, prefixes, and suffixes. In this week-long unit, students will learn what a root word is and break words down into their suffixes, prefixes, and roots to determine the word meaning. Students will learn what root words and affixes are, how to determine meaning using prefixes and suffixes, and practice finding examples of Greek and Latin roots in their own reading.

This unit also includes bonus interactive notebook pages for teachers who prefer to keep and use interactive notebooks throughout the year.

Unit Includes:

  • Greek and Latin Roots & Affixes Anchor Chart
  • Word Meaning Graphic Organizers
